Exciting opportunity for experienced senior analyst.

As a dynamic and growth-oriented healthcare consulting firm, we are seeking an experienced senior financial analyst for our successful Transaction Services team. We are seeking candidates with experience in managing all aspects of medical practice and surgery center sale transactions, able to leverage their strong financial background to deliver successful outcomes for our clients.

Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum three years of work experience in mergers and acquisitions via investment banking, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, accounting, or consulting
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • MBA or CFA preferred but not required

Essential Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and other cash accounting techniques and concepts
  • Demonstrated understanding of small business financial statements with clear ability to analyze and interpret
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling and business valuation methodologies
  • High proficiency in Mircosoft Office products, with emphasis on Excel
  • Able to work as a supporting team member or take the lead on independent or team projects
  • Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple concurrent projects, often working to urgent deadlines
  • Acute attention to detail and accuracy in working with large amounts of data
  • High level of professionalism including excellent communication skills, both written and oral across all internal and client interactions
  • Desire to learn and absorb new principles and ability to train and coach others

Responsibilities: Job Functions and Duties

  • Preparation, analysis, and quality-control review of various financial tools and resources in support of transaction services engagements
  • Provide training and support to internal and/or external consultants, work teams, and others with the development and functionality of new and existing practice management tools
  • Provide deal execution leadership to the transaction services project managers and financial analysts
  • Assist with updates to current tools and resources, as needed
  • Research and develop new uses and implementation opportunities for Excel and other mediums, both internally and externally
  • Preparation, analysis, quality-control review of financial reports including benchmarking and business valuations
