We’ve been anxiously awaiting the arrival of an upgraded BSM Connection® experience, and we’re thrilled to announce that the new site has finally landed! As the leading online practice management and training resource for ophthalmology practices, BSM Connection provides entire teams — practice administrators, managers, front desk staff, office personnel, and clinical staff — with 24/7 access to a comprehensive library of tools, resources, and eLearning courses.

Evolving to Meet Your Needs
After a decade of providing timely, relevant, and industry-specific resources, you may be wondering what prompted us to change the BSM Connection program.
As with all successful programs — and in line with our unwavering commitment to continuous improvement — we felt it was time to create a more contemporary look and feel for BSM Connection. In keeping with our mission of providing value, we also wanted to add more resources and eLearning courses while improving functionality. That’s why we’ve listened loudly to our customers, invested in the latest technology and best practices, and developed a wealth of new content to create your new BSM Connection experience.
We are excited to share the improvements to BSM Connection, all of which were designed to help you and your teams in the important work you do. These upgrades are summarized in the infographic below.
Only Pay for What You Need
With all of these enhancements comes an updated pricing model that ensures your practice only pays for the essentials. Our base price is even more affordable than before, and the new seat-based pricing model reflects the latest market trends (versus our previous one-price-fits-all model). Our new BSM Connection tiers (pictured below) were thoughtfully designed with all practice sizes in mind.
Under this model, smaller practices with relatively few users can justify the investment and reap the rewards. Meanwhile, larger practices with several locations will benefit from the new levels of customization offered in their pricing tier. Specifically, Diamond and Enterprise members can now keep track of hundreds (or even thousands) of learners under the centralized, customizable eLearning center included in their membership.
Additionally, our pay-per-seat model allows administrators to replace previous employees with new hires seamlessly. Additional seats can be added at any time for a pro-rated fee, ensuring that every practice only pays for what it needs.
Ultimately, there is nothing more important to the BSM team than supporting you, our valued clients. We are excited to see and hear from current BSM Connection customers who have already begun digging into the new site and all it has to offer!
