Every engagement is unique.

You choose how engaged we are in the search process. BSM Consulting can manage the entire project or support you in the few specific areas that would make the recruiting process easier. We'll provide you with weekly updates, recruiting tools and resources, and consulting services along the way so that you're always in the loop. We are flexible and can provide any combination of the steps below, in any order that best meets your needs: 

Assessment

Clearly identifying expectations, roles, and responsibilities with your key decision-makers is an important first step in successfully hiring a job applicant. Our goal is to learn all the “right fit” qualities so we can focus on applicants who will blend well with your practice’s vision, mission, culture, and team. This approach may include:

  • A complimentary consultation
  • Initial interviews with key-decision makers
  • Determination of "ideal candidate"

Recruitment

The job interview process can be time-consuming. We can help you efficiently pre-screen and manage the applicant vetting process. This may include:

  • Creating job descriptions
  • Posting jobs online to the BSM Career Center, industry websites, career websites, and in local publications
  • Examining resumes, CVs, and applications
  • Managing email and telephone correspondence with applicants (both qualified and unqualified)

Employee Selection

As qualified candidates move through the interview process, they likely will be interviewed several times prior to receiving a job offer or a rejection notice. We can help you manage this process. Our involvement may include: 

  • Checking professional references
  • Conducting screening interviews (initial video/telephone)
  • Facilitating onsite interviews

Job Offer/Onboarding

The final step is to facilitate and assist with the job offer/acceptance/hiring process with the preferred candidate. This may include: 

  • Background checks and behavioral assessments 
  • Salary negotiation
  • Hiring and onboarding
